DESCRIPTION:This is the fourth in our series of seasonal workshops celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Wellington Botanic Gardens and the Fresh Shoots Photo Competition. \nMark Berger\, APSNZ and long-standing member of WPS\, will lead the workshop and explore the art of seeing and creating creative black and white images. Primarily the workshop will focus on in-camera technique but will also touch on post-production tips for fine-tuning your black & white images. \nThe workshop will commence at 10:30am starting in the Treehouse Seminar Room at the Botanic Gardens and followed by a photo walk around the gardens. \nRegistrations are now closed as the workshop is full. \nRegister Here \n\n

You can bring your prints along to the meeting on 11 July 2019. \n  \nOther Requirements: \n\nLimit of three entries per topic\nPhotographers responsible for matting and printing their own prints\nOnce again\, Wellington Photographic Supplies in Vivian Street are providing printing at half their normal retail cost\, which is a great deal.\nMaximum print size is 16″ x 12″\nWe have previously used a standard matt size of 20″ x 16″ with a hole for the photograph of 15″ x 10″.
