DESCRIPTION:Sophie Thorn\, Collections Officer at the Adam Art Gallery\, has graciously agreed to give a talk via ZOOM on May 7th. \nSophie holds a master’s degree in Art History and Theory from the University of Canterbury and a post-grad certificate in Heritage Materials Science from Victoria University of Wellington. She has previously worked as a registrar at the Wellington Museums Trust and Te Manawa Museums Trust. \nShe will speak on a number of topics including Art Law\, issues when presenting photography in a public space such as a university\, as well as stories and photographs from exhibits past. \nThe link for the meeting is: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86745748018\nIf you don’t have ZOOM already\, you will be prompted to download the software. \nThe chat will be open at 1900 to allow attendees time to test audio and video with the meeting and presentation commencing just after 1930. Sophie’s presentation will be followed by the standard Q&A and the chatroom will remain open to 2130 to allow attendees to virtually mingle with their tea and biscuits at home.
