SUMMARY:Julian Butler - Infrared photography
DESCRIPTION:Julian will be discussing the techniques behind the capture and production of his digital infrared images\, which he has been shooting since 2007\, focusing on the Wellington region and locations further afield. Culminating in a solo exhibition at Thistle Hall in 2010\, this series of images aims to escape the usual infrared subject of nature and opt instead for urban scenes with introduced colour. Julian graduated from Otago Polytech School of Art in 1995. \nDoors open at 7:00pm\, meeting starts at 7:30pm.
