We had an excellent kick-off to the year at our last meeting, with a good number of members, visitors and presenters. Thank you to everyone who came along and an extra special thank you to those who shared what they’ve been up to over the summer.
My Journey to APSNZ
At this meeting our presenter is Barry Mahon. Barry has been a member of WPS for some time and won our most recent Print Competition. Barry will be speaking about his journey to attaining his APSNZ and the light painting technique he used.
Light Painting Demonstration
Barry’s member presentation will be followed by a short demonstration on how to capture Light Painting images.
Light Painting Photography is the method of using handheld lights to paint and/or draw in a scene while the shutter of a camera is left open during a long exposure photograph. By shooting in a dark location and using the photographic technique of LONG exposure photography.
