DESCRIPTION:This is our first meeting of 2022. \nSpecial General Meeting\nFirst off will be a brief Special General meeting to finalise some items from last years AGM and then we will kick on with the rest of our evening. \nSpecial General Meeting Documents: Link \nBird Photography\nJoin a few local photographers as they share the secrets of producing eye-catching images of birds. Learn principles of composition\, the best bird photography equipment\, and when and where to shoot great images of birds. \nImportant Note: This will be a hybrid event. I.e you will be able to attend in person or attend a live stream of the event via zoom.\nZoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83983516634 \nCOVID-19 Protocol:\nThe following requirements will apply to all future meetings held at the Tararua Tramping Club Hall 4 Moncrieff Street\, Mt Victoria:- \n\nAny potential attendees who are feeling unwell or exhibiting possible signs of the virus must not attend meetings\nMask wearing will be compulsory at all meetings.\nAttendees will be required to scan the Hall QR code on entry\, sign the club register and sanitise their hands\nVaccine Passes or other evidence of full vaccination will be a condition of entry for meetings after 1 December 2021.\nThe Society will ensure that socially distanced seating is set out before each meeting and that sign-in and hand sanitation facilities are in place.\nSuppers will be suspended until further notice although a supply of bottled water may be provided.\nThe Society will use its best endeavours to allow zoom attendance and recording of meetings for those unable to attend in person.\nThe Society may impose other restrictions as required by either government direction or the Tararua Tramping Club

SUMMARY:Botanical Gardens - Photo Walk
DESCRIPTION:Botanical Gardens – Photo Walk \nThis is a casual photo walk\, open to all\, no matter how experienced you are with your camera 🙂 Any skill level\, any camera gear (even if it’s just your phone – the best camera is always the one you have with you)\, any style of photography is welcome. \nIt’s a short walk but will probably still take a couple of hours (what with all the stopping to take pictures of stuff). \n\nWhat to bring: Water\, comfy shoes\, your mask\, your camera\, and your desire to take pictures of stuff\nStarting location: Botanical Gardens Soundshell (On the lawn) in the Wellington Botanic Garden\nTime: 18:30 (6.30pm)\n\nApprox Route: Meeting at the soundshell\, then breaking into groups to take different routes through the gardens. \nWe would love to see your images so please share your 3 favourite ones at comms@wps.org.nz or on the discussion group page afterwards. \nRain date: Sunday the 27th February. We will let you know if we need to move it to the postponement date.
