DESCRIPTION:This Thursday some of our members will be presenting some of their favourite pics from the last year. Each member will run through 10 of their favourite images. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an opportunity to shoot in black and white in a relaxed environment.\n\nStarting at the Te Papa ground floor cafe\, we will have a chat\, set our cameras to black and white together and then set off to capture some images.\n\nReturning to the cafe afterwards we will then hand our cameras around to show and discuss what we each captured.\n\nThis is a fun\, relaxed shoot suitable for any level of experience.\n\nEquipment: Camera with a blank SD card (a phone with a monochrome setting would also work).\nDate & Time: Saturday\, May 21\, 2022 AT 10am – 12pm

DESCRIPTION:It’s been a while since we had a good old fashioned ‘Show and Tell’\nIt could be prints\, a photobook\, a piece of gear that makes your life easier\, or a portfolio or website you are currently working on\, the project you are most proud of or even something you can’t work out and have been scratching your head about (we’ve all been there!).\n\nWhatever it is\, come along and tell us about it. There’s nothing quite like learning from and sharing with others\, so let’s make it happen! If you don’t have any images or a project to share\, your input will be welcome anyway so come along too! We’re keen to keep providing a supportive community that helps and supports other photographers.\n\nFor those bringing images\, feel free to bring along physical prints and/or digital (on a device such as a phone/tablet/laptop). Please bring your own device \n\nSo\, come along and share your work\, projects\, inspiration or tips and tricks with us!

DESCRIPTION:The Wellington Photographic Society will be visiting New Zealand’s largest and most comprehensive palaeontology collection on May 28th\, 2022 at 11 AM. \n\nThe collection is located at GNS Science on 1 Fairway Drive\, Lower Hutt.\nTo learn more about the collection\, visit: gns.cri.nz/Home/Products/Databases/National-Paleontology-Collection \n\nTour size is limited to 15 so booking will be first come\, first serve.\n\nYou must register to attend to this meetup.
