Wellington Interclub Battle

Each year the clubs in the area submit their best prints covering ten different topics for the bragging rights of being the best overall club in the region. The event this year is being hosted by the Kapiti Coast Camera Club and the judging will take place at the Otaihanga Boating Club Hall, 19 Makora Road Otaihanga on Monday, 23 September 2019, starting at 7.30pm.
It’s always a fun evening so mark this date in your diaries now.
The ten topics for 2019 are:
- Just being kids
- Light Effects
- Nature’s finest
- Night in the city
- A matter of perspective
- Impressionist
- An unlikely combination
- Social interaction 21st Century style
- Fast or slow
- An image that reflects this quotation from Janet Frame “The End”
Up is heaven, down is ocean,
or, more simply, sea and sky rivalling in welcome.
Thank you to the members who submitted images for consideration to be chosen as WPS’s entry for each on the categories. The selection panel is now assessing the submissions. Once the club entries are chosen, we will arrange for the printing and matting.
