Zealandia Meetup

Tucked up over the city of Wellington is Zealandia, an ecosanctuary reminiscent of the days before humans arrived in New Zealand.
Zealandia is a great place to photograph more than just birds – there are invertebrates, plants, fungi, and tuatara too (so you don’t need a huge long lens if you don’t have one). It’s spring at the moment so there should be some breeding displays going on, and you might even spot some birds collecting food to feed hungry chicks!
Keep in mind, we do not have an official Zealandia guide for this meet-up, but we do have a staff member who knows the sanctuary quite well
