Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Wellington Photographic Society Inc
The date of the AGM is set for 28th November 2024. We are calling for any motions members want to put on the agenda as part of the AGM business, and for nominations for officeholders and WPS Committee members. Any motion for a change to the WPS Rules must be sent to the Secretary by 25th of November. Information on committee roles and nomination forms can be obtained via email.

Postponement Notice
Unfortunately, we have decided to postpone our AGM. Due to the current level 4 lockdown, the uncertainty around its possible extension and to look after our members, friends and whanau, we’ve made the decision to postpone our 2021 AGM this Thursday.

AGM News 2017
The club’s AGM was held on 10 August 2017 and resulted in some changes to the Committee, following the retirement of Gail Teale as President and the decisions of Hilary Troup and Thomas Zink not to seek reelection as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
The new President is Glen Innes, who joined the club on returning to Wellington in 2016. His previous club involvement has been in the South Island with the Nature Photographic Society and the Fairlie Camera Club.
During this meeting WPS members at the AGM are to elect the officers of the Society, that is the President, Secretary and Treasurer, and up to five committee members. Committee members take responsibility for different areas of the club’s work.

Communications/Impact
At the AGM Gail Teale finishes her two year term and will hand over to a new president. Tom Zink, Hilary Troup and Lesley Moyes are leaving their positions. Gail Teale is leading the preparation for a new committee.
