2020 AGM: Notice
UPDATED – Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Wellington Photographic Society Inc
The date of the AGM has been postponed to 03 September 2020. Due to level 2 restrictions and unavailability of the Tararua Tramping Club, this AGM will be held online via Zoom.

We are calling for any motions members want to put on the agenda as part of the AGM business and for nominations for officeholders and WPS Committee members.
Any motion for a change to the WPS Rules must be sent to the Secretary by 1st August.
Information on committee roles and a nomination form for office holders and committee members can be found below. Completed nominations must reach the Secretary by 1st August.
The business to be conducted will include the following items:-
- Confirmation of the minutes of the previous annual general meeting.
- Receipt of the President’s Report for the year ended 30 June 2020.
- Receipt of the Treasurer’s Report for the year ended 30 June 2020.
- Adoption of the annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2020.
- Election of officers and committee members for the year ending 30 June 2020.
The rules provide for the following officers:- President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Hon Secretary and Honorary Treasurer and up to five committee members - Determining the membership subscriptions for the year ending 30 June 2020.
- Recommending whether a financial review of the accounts for the forthcoming year is required
- Any other business

Current Committee of the Wellington Photographic Society Inc
On 03 September 2020 Wellington Photographic Society members at the AGM are to elect the officers of the Society, that is the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and up to five committee members. The Immediate Past President remains as an officer of the Committee. Committee members take responsibility for different areas of the club’s work.
The current committee is:
- Shannon Doyle – President, Impact editor, Marketing, Webmaster
- Glen Innes – Immediate Past President
- Mel Keith – Treasurer/Membership
- Donna Jennings – Honorary Secretary
- Lee Mclauchlan – Programme
- Raymond Cho – Competitions
- Keith Molloy
- Peter Rodgers
For 2020 we will be looking at adding roles for Programme, Meetups and Social Media co-ordinators.
At the AGM Peter Rodgers, Raymond Cho and Donna Jennings are leaving their positions.
