2021 Wellington Interclub Print Competition – Part Deux
Each year, photography clubs from across the Wellington region come together to compete for bragging rights and spiffy trophies for best print. Technical skill doesn’t necessarily guarantee a place in the top 3, but a good eye and submitting a photo deftly encapsulates the theme will take you far.
The interclub competition is a great competition for new and experienced members alike with no cost to make an entry. Printing costs are covered by the club if your print is selected and will be returned after the judging.
Due to current global circumstances, 2021 will have two of these competitions. One was already held back in March and the 2nd is being hosted by the Hutt Camera Club on October 12th.

- Framed
- Great Outdoors
- H is for …
- In The City
- Multiple Exposure
- What we do in the Shadows
- Symmetry
- Triptych
- Wet
The due date for entries is Midnight, September 27th, 2021.
Please limit to 1 entry per category | Submissions can be sent to comms@wps.org.nz
Please label your files in the following manner to make it easy for your committee to quickly and correctly organise your photos.
- Interclub_Category_LastNameFirstName_Title
- I.e.Interclub_GreatOutdoors_RideoutBronwyn_OhNoABear
As with the Interclubs competition held earlier in the year, unless there is a change in levels, there will be a limit to the number of club members who can attend (8 to 10), so not all photographers selected to represent the club will be able to attend the night.
Covid tracing and face masks will be required and there will be no shared dinner at Level 2 but bottled water will be provided.
