Preliminary Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of The Wellington Photographic Society will be held on Thursday 9 August 2018 at the Tararua Tramping Club rooms, 4 Moncrieff Street, Mount Victoria, commencing at 7.30pm.
The business to be conducted will include the following items:-
- Confirmation of the minutes of the previous annual general meeting.
- Receipt of the President’s Report for the year ended 30 June 2018.
- Receipt of the Treasurer’s Report for the year ended 30 June 2018.
- Adoption of the annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2018.
- Election of officers and committee members for the year ending 30 June 2019.
The rules provided for the following officers:- President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Hon Secretary and Honorary Treasurer and up to five committee members - Determining the membership subscriptions for the year ending 30 June 2019.
- Recommending whether a financial review of the accounts for the forthcoming year is required
- Any other business
Notes
- Doors will open at 7pm
- In conjunction with the agm Gail Teale & Shannon Doyle has organised a photographic session with some Ballet dancers capturing movement. It should be fun so bring your camera and tripod!
- If you can’t attend the meeting in person, you can arrange for a proxy to vote on your behalf.
- Nominations for Officers and Committee members close on Thursday 26 July.
